Join us for the 7th Annual New Year’s Rally in Sunny Southern Arizona. Enjoy the beautiful Sonoran Desert setting with warm days and cool nights by the group camp fire.

Picacho Peak State Park has hiking trails, geocaching, and rock climbing areas. The park is situated about 30 minutes north of Tucson and approximately 1 hour south of the Phoenix area, just west of I-10. The nearest towns are Picacho and Eloy.

We will be dry camping in the Quail Group Area (See downloadable/printable Picacho Peak Park Map). Quiet generators are permitted from 8am to 10pm. The group area has portable toilets and fresh water available. Modern showers and restrooms are located in a nearby loop. You can also fill your fresh water tank from the “potable water” spigot near the dump station on the way in. The ramadas where we have our potlucks and other activities for the rally have electrical power.

There is no rally fee. You will pay your $15/night camping fees (for the Group Area) at the ranger station upon arrival.

We are still putting the schedule together, but it will likely be very fluid. Be prepared for a couple of potlucks and happy hours. Other items you will want to bring will be warm outerwear, fire wood, and recreational items such as bicycles. And don’t forget your gift for another crazy White Elephant Gift Exchange!

We ask each rig to bring some firewood and champagne if you would like to have that for the New Year’s Eve Bon Fire.

If you have Airstream friends who are not members of the 4CU but would like to join us, please let the hosts (Louis & Sergio) know so they can make arrangements.
